"New" Furniture

I am feeling better now than I was earlier today, but it was still a very underwhelming birthday. It was not, however, the worst I have ever had, and I was not expecting a large amount of celebration anyway.

Our table and chairs are not in the best shape. No, that is not true. Our table is in fantastic shape and is very lovely, if a little small. Our chairs, however, are not in good shape. The seats fall off. In fact, they are (this is embarrassing as a housewife) being held on with black electrical tape at the moment. They are sufficient, most of the time. We rarely eat dinner at the table, and we rarely have dinner guests. However, we do have a weekly game night on Saturdays when many people gather around the table.

We did not purchase this table ourselves. It was given to us by Walter's father, who had been using it as a breakfast table for quite some time. So, it is time for a new table. But because we are not as financially well-off as we would like, it will not be as new as we would prefer. Right now I am scouring Craigslist for some inexpensive table and chair sets. Hopefully I can find something worth the effort!
