A friend of mine wanted to socialize today, but I had to decline because I have too much work to do. Yesterday, due to my feeling unwell, I didn't do any work, so I have to do extra today. She was disappointed and perhaps a little angry, but she also didn't tell me "happy birthday," so perhaps I do not care as much as a good friend should.
Today, I have to:
Do the laundry
Do the dishes
Pick up the living room
Pick up the kitchen
Work out (but only a little. My knees still hurt)
Make dinner
The dreary day caused me to sleep far too late, so this is going to take entirely too much of my day. And, of course, I am here online instead of working...sometimes it is hard to find the motivation I need.
