TGIF

I feel ill today, nauseous. I made the pigs in blankets regardless, they are in the oven right now. Tomorrow I must make Rotel before we leave. The weather is possibly going to be bad tomorrow afternoon, so we could be stranded at my parents' house. I certainly hope not.

Ugh, you can tell I am ill today. I put the sausages into the oven on waxed paper instead of parchment paper. I realized my mistake in time to save about half of them, but it is considerably less than I planned on bringing. Still, with the cookies (Walter's office dinner was cancelled) and the Rotel, it will be enough. My family is not particularly large. I am still upset with myself, but it will be okay.

It seems to me that I make some sort of baking mistake every time I cook something for an event other than Walter's office. Maybe I should just bake for his office all of the time. Ugh.

I hope u enjoy urself and DO NOT get stuck at ur parents house. I thought pigs in blankets were sausages in pancakes, is that what u made? I can't wait for my Jello surprise come xmas, I am sure we will all laugh, but I am making everyone taste it, believe u me, or no beef wellington!

As a kid, our pigs in blankets were always just hot dogs baked in biscuit dough, but I believe the sausages in pancakes are actually more popular. These are the Li'l Smokies sausages wrapped in crescent roll dough.

I suppose that some of the Jello concoctions were not absolutely horrible, especially when they used non-flavored gelatin. The idea is just so horrid-sounding, to me...But perhaps it is like Velveeta fudge, which sounds horrible but is supposedly the best fudge known to man.

HUH fudge made with velveeta cheese? Well, I would try it at least, but I hate processed 'american' cheese, but I do like chocolate. Hmmm not a big hotdog fan, do u put condiments on them? I'm not sure if I like ketchup on a biscuit. I hope I don't sound stupid, just intriqued now, of course now I WANT the sausage/pancake pigs in a blanket mmmmmm

Yeah, I am not a fan of Velveeta either. I do want to try the fudge, but I am just so hesitant.

I'm not a big hot dog fan now. As a kid, I dunno, I think most kids eat hot dogs. I think sometimes I dipped them in mustard or cheese, but mostly I just at them plain. We didn't have them very often. The little ones I make now are smoked sausages instead of hot dogs. They have enough flavor that you don't have to add condiments, but some people dipped them in the Rotel last night.
