I ended up making five dessert recipes for the holidays (six if you count the orange cookies). Of those, only two failed. Like I said, one of every three recipes...
Today I made the chocolate mint cookies, some Oreo truffles (because the chocolate cheesecake I made started slipping off of the plate as I put it in the fridge, and I instinctively put my hand on it to save it...and put my hand through it), and a peppermint cake. All of these are shown in my food blog. Now, the kitchen is clean, the dishes are going, and Walter is home with McDonald's for dinner (I offered to make spaghetti, but he knew that my back was killing me). Tomorrow afternoon, we will depart for our Christmas festivities, not coming home until late Christmas night. And then, I will be able to rest.

Have fun with Christmas. :)
Why would cookies not be a dessert?
They count as a dessert, but they don't necessarily count in my holiday baking. Geez, comprehend.
Ugh. Writing fails you.
