Today I have to take the pet in for surgery. I wish I could offer some tips on how to get a scared, aggressive animal out of her large cage and into the travel cage without any scuffles, but the bandaid on my pinky finger would say that I am not an expert at this. Once she is in the travel cage, she is cuddly and scared and adorable. Alas...
Walter and I have a guest coming in from out of town this weekend. I am making lemon cupcakes (per his request) for his arrival. He is also a vegetarian, so it presents an interesting challenge for the weekend's meals! Luckily, he is not vegan, so I do not have to try to find egg substitutes for the cupcakes.
In addition to taking the pet in for surgery, I also have to do some grocery shopping, fold the laundry, and do the dishes. Didn't I just do the dishes yesterday? It seems like the sink is a bag of holding sometimes.
Getting up this early is something I don't do often enough. I do enjoy it.

Eh things haven't been going so great for me. They seem to be gettign worse.
