Tonight I am making honey teriyaki chicken breasts for dinner. It smells tasty, but I am at a loss for sides. Walter will probably want french fries, as it is a heavy enough dish that they would work, but I am interested in something healthier for me. I am considering some marinated vegetables as well, but which, and what marinade? Probably another teriyaki, to compliment the chicken? That does sound delicious. Perhaps some broccoli, red bell peppers, and snow peas? I would indeed have to make a run to the store, but it would almost definitely be worth it. I considered serving it over rice for more Asian authenticity. Perhaps I will make some fried rice. Walter does so love fried rice.
So, perhaps I am in need of a trip to the grocers. My chores are done for the day, so I certainly have the time, but I am hesitant to spend the money. However, it is not a selfish spending, as it is for the good of our nutrition, so I feel it is justified. Off to the market!
When I return, I will post details of my Halloween Cele"boo"tion!
