Restless

I have felt restless all week. I am not sure why, but I just have not wanted to be at home all day. I think that it comes from the fact that we are so busy over the next couple of months and I am anticipating those events.

Today I have done the dishes and am doing laundry, and I cleaned the kitchen (it badly needed it). The range direly needed a cleaning, so I am soaking the burner catches at the moment. After the kitchen is in shape, I will fold the laundry. Tonight I will clean the pet cages (I was too tired to do so yesterday), and on Monday I will vacuum. Despite feeling restless, I do feel motivated and proud of myself for accomplishing so much around the house.

I bought a dress yesterday (it was clearanced to twenty dollars at Dillard's!) to wear to the employee appreciation party tomorrow. It is teal, which compliments me well, and it fits like a dream. I am quite pleased with it.

Walter has received his W-2. We are just waiting on mine from when I worked part-time a few months last year, and then I can do our taxes. It seems that we will get a pretty hefty refund, but I could be wrong. I am hoping we do not have to pay, but it is always a possibility. We shall see.

Next week, I plan to make Bobbie's cookies and mail them. Hopefully they are still fresh when "she" receives them. It will probably take about two weeks for them to make it there, so I am hoping it works out. I still need to pick up some ingredients. My brown sugar has solidified, as it does, and I have no dried cranberries...
