Frustrations

UGH! Our washing machine is not functioning. The first load of laundry went as normal, but the second did not drain, and now the washer won't work at all. It makes a sort of noise like it WANTS to spin, but it does nothing--except occasionally add more water. It seems to be a motor problem, but as neither Walter nor I are particularly fluent in the workings of a washing machine, we are calling his father lately, hoping to find an answer. It is looking like a new washing machine is in our future, however. At least the dryer still works.

The good news is that dinner was nice, and Marzipan has not deleted her blog, but merely moved it. So, there are some bright patches. And we can find a "new" washing machine for fairly cheap, as well. All will be well.
