Failure

For some reason, the chicken tasted of plastic tonight. I don't know why it tasted like plastic. I thought it was perhaps the stove, but it didn't smell of plastic. The marinade did look somewhat thicker than usual, but I thought that maybe it was because it was a different brand than usual. Regardless, I will clean the oven tomorrow, and we had mashed potatoes and green beans and toast for dinner. I offered to make something else or pick something up, but Walter declined. It is not the most meager meal we have ever had.

In other news, I have been informed that Linens 'N' Things is going out of business. Thus, they are having a huge liquidation sale. I must make a trip tomorrow! I need to purchase a bread pan anyway. I have some bananas that are already past the stage of eating. In a few days, they will be ready for banana bread. I have fifty dollars of birthday money that I could spend if I find things that are worth purchasing.
